Here are the steps for returning your items:

  • Go to our Australia Post returns portal using the link provided, complete the form, and print the label.
  • Attach the form that is at the back of your invoice (you can print it again here).
  • Drop off your return at a local post office. Ensure your parcel is scanned upon drop-off. 

Conditions

  • Items must be received within 21 days of you receiving the parcel.
  • Items must be in their original, resellable condition—unworn, unwashed, with all tags and original packaging (e.g., boxes) intact.
  • When we receive a return, we will automatically issue a gift card unless the item is faulty. Gift cards are valid for 3 years, and any unused credit will remain on the gift card.
  • Please note that if you received free shipping on your order and decide to return an item, a $10 fee will be deducted from your refund for Boutique Dresses and a $20 fee for Formal Dresses.
  • Any free gifts included with your order must be returned with the purchased items. If the free gift is not returned when processing your return, the cost of the gift will be deducted from your refund.
  • All refund to payment method requests will incur a 15% restocking fee, deducted from the original purchase price, unless the item is faulty. This fee covers our acquisition, postage, and handling costs associated with your order and return. Please contact us if you would like to choose this option.
  • We do not accept returns on sale items reduced by 50% or more; these are final sale.
  • We do not accept returns on earrings, or undergarments (bras, underwear, swimwear, secret weapons) for sanitary reasons.
  • Incorrect sizing or colour selection is not considered a fault.
  • All shipping costs, including insurance, will not be refunded or credited.
  • We recommend sending returns via registered post to ensure secure delivery, as we cannot accept responsibility for lost items. Additionally, we advise keeping your postal receipt, as it contains the tracking number and makes it easy to monitor your return.
  • Items returned to us that do not meet the above conditions or are returned without prior approval will be sent back to the customer at their own expense.
  • All our returns are processed within 1-3 business days by our friendly staff.
  • To help the return process run smoothly, please create an account with us if you haven't already done so with your purchase. Ensure you use the same email as the one used to place the order. Exchanges

  • Our return portal no longer supports exchanges. Please initiate your return to receive a gift card, which you can then use to purchase the desired item in a different variant or choose a new item altogether.
  • If you require the product urgently, kindly reach out to our support team for further assistance.

 

Faulty Items

We are sincerely sorry to hear that there was a manufacturing fault with your garment!
Unfortunately, we do experience manufacturing faults with our garments on rare occasions which we cannot control. 
In the case of a manufacturing fault we are more than happy to replace, refund or offer a store credit for the items.

In accordance with Australian consumer law, we will only provide a refund if the item is faulty and cannot be repaired or replaced. It is at the wholesaler's discretion if an item is deemed faulty which Miss Runway Boutique will first need to check before agreeing to a refund.

Please note the following reasons are NOT considered to be faults:

  • Colour variation from online image
  • Slight design variation, e.g., placement of lace
  • Slight size variation
  • Minor imperfections, e.g., loose threads (anything that can easily be cut off with scissors), crease marks, etc.
  • Self-inflicted damage to the product, including fabric tear while trying on
  • Customer's subjective opinions, e.g., quality, preferences, and/or incorrect fitting.

    What happens when I return an item?

    Once received by our team, we will process it within 48 hours excluding weekends and public holidays. Once the garment is thoroughly checked and meets our return requirements, you will receive an email from us confirming your return has been received along with your store credit amount. You will be able to use your store credit at any point from then within a period of 36 months.

    I think my item is faulty. What should I do?

    Do you refund postage costs?

    All shipping costs will not be refunded or credited as stated in our policy. Any items purchased with our complimentary free shipping that is returned to us, will have the full shipping cost deducted from the store credit. $10 within Australia and $20 International from the store credit or refund.
