HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
HIRE PERIOD
At Miss Runway Formal, we strive to make your formal events as hassle-free as possible. We offer gown hire for either 4 or 8 days, with easy collection and return at our Gold Coast boutique. For those outside the area, we offer express Australia-wide shipping. Please ensure the gown is posted back the next business day after your event. A $20 late fee will be applied for each business day the parcel is returned late.
EVENT DATE
Please consider our shipping timeframes before placing an order for a hire dress. Within Queensland: 1-2 business days Other States: 1-3+ business days Western Australia: We recommend selecting an 8-day rental to ensure enough time for shipping.
SECURITY BOND
After placing your order, you will receive a separate email with a link to provide your card details for the bond payment. Your order will only be processed and released once this step is completed. For rental dresses up to $200, a $100 bond will be held. For dresses over $200, a $200 bond will apply. The bond will be refunded once we receive the dress in its original condition. Please note that if the dress is damaged or not returned, we reserve the right to charge the full RRP of the dress to the saved card.
SHIPPING
The shipping fee for hire products is $40, which includes both express shipping to you and express return shipping. We will provide an express return shipping label inside the package for your convenience.
RETURNING THE GOWN
The dress must be returned the day after your event. If the dress is returned late, a fee of $20 will be charged for each business day the parcel is overdue. Please return the gown in its garment bag. If the garment bag is missing, a $25 replacement fee will be charged to the card on file.
DRY CLEANING
All hire prices at Miss Runway Formal include dry cleaning. Simply return the gown as is, and we'll take care of the cleaning. By hiring with us, you agree not to attempt to clean or press the gown yourself.
FIT ISSUES
If the dress doesn’t fit, please do not remove the tags and return it to us. We will refund the rental amount as a gift card. Please note, shipping fees are non-refundable.
